Your Recipe for Success:

To achieve the best possible results with this candle mould, follow our recommendations:

• Recommended Wax:  Use either paraffin wax or white candle wax.
• Recommended Wick: We suggest starting your tests with an LX20 wick.  If you prefer a larger flame, try LX22 wick.

Guide to Pouring the Perfect  Candle:

Follow these steps for optimal results.

1. Prepare your wick: Prime an LX20 wick by dipping it in a small amount of melted wax and allowing it to cool.
2. Prepare the mould: Thread the primed wick through the hole at the bottom of the candle mould. Seal the hole on the outside of the mould with mould sealer or Prestik to prevent leaks. Centre the wick over the mouth of the candle mould.
3. Melt the Wax: In a double boiler, melt your paraffin wax or CA60 candle wax. For a longer-burning candle, you can optionally add stearic acid to paraffin wax (typically 10% by weight).
4. Add Colour (Optional): If using a candle dye, add it to the fully melted wax and stir thoroughly until completely dissolved.
5. Pour for a Glossy Finish: For the best results and a high-gloss surface,pour at 90°C.
