Candle making recommendations & guidelines

To achieve the best results with this mould, we recommend the following supplies and tests.

• Recommended Wax: This mould performs exceptionally well with CA60 candle wax and paraffin wax. For a harder, more opaque, and longer-burning candle, you can optionally add stearic acid to the paraffin wax (typically 5-10% by weight).
• Wick Selection: Good starting points for this 70mm diameter mould are the LX20 or LX22 wicks.
• Expert Tip: the importance of wick testing Please note that wick recommendations are a starting guide. The perfect wick for your candle depends on the specific type of wax, fragrance oil, and dye you use, as each can affect the burn. It is essential to perform your own tests to determine which wick gives you the optimal flame height and melt pool for your unique formula.
