Citrus Bomb Fragrance Oil

Citrus Bomb fragrance oil opens with top notes of petit grain and grapefuit.  Petit grain, extracted from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree, has a refreshing, and slightly bitter, floral scent which marries well with the dynamic, joyful, inspiring grapefruit note. These energising top notes reveal a delicate, sensual heart of orange blossom and neroli, held in the creamy, reassuring warmth of vanilla  and musk.

This fragrance oil has been specifically designed for candle wax.  Use it in IW3F wax, paraffin wax and soy wax to make scented candles with excellent hot and cold scent throw.

How to use Citrus Bomb Fragrance Oil in Candle Wax

Melt the candle wax, preferably an electric stove over a double boiler. Set aside the melted wax. Add between 3 – 6%  fragrance oil.   This comes to roughly 1 – 2 tablespoons per 1kg candle wax.   Add the fragrance oil to the melted wax and stir until the fragrance oil is completely incorporated into the melted wax.  Keep stirring gently until the wax has cooled down sufficiently to reach pouring temperature.

Dosage rates

3 – 6% in candles and wax melts.  How much is 3% – 6% ?  It is roughly equal to 1- 2 tablespoons per 1kg candle wax.

2% in soap

0,5% in massage candles and other cosmetics

Storage and Safety

Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, dark place at an ambient temperature of approx 20°C.  Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, flames and any other sources of ignition.
