If you are a professional candle maker, you know that imported beeswax often lose its natural character through aggressive chemical bleaching and deodorizing. Our Locally Sourced Natural Beeswax is different; it comes to you straight from local hives. Supplied as a solid block, the beeswax has been filtered to remove any debris from the hive while preserving its deep golden colour and delicious honey aroma.

Technical Performance Tips for Formulators
-
Processing Solid Blocks: To easily break down the 750g block without flying shards, use a warm, heavy knife. Melt down on an electric stove.
-
Fragrance Pairing & Load: Can handle high fragrance loads.
-
Pour Control: To prevent thermal shock and cooling cracks in dense silicone or metal molds, pre-warm your molds and pour the wax steadily between 70°C and 75°C.
-
Wicking for Viscosity: Pure beeswax is viscous (syrupy). Standard wicks won’t do the job. Use the thicker VRL wicks, e.g. VRL22 or VRL26.
