If you are a professional candle maker, you know that imported beeswax often lose its natural character through aggressive chemical bleaching and deodorizing. Our Locally Sourced Natural Beeswax is different; it comes to you straight from local hives.  Supplied as a solid block, the beeswax has been filtered to remove any debris from the hive while preserving its deep golden colour and delicious honey aroma.

Key Applications & Manufacturing Benefits

  • Premium Pillar & Taper Production: The higher melting point ensures a longer burn.

  • Soy Blending: Facing frosting in your soy container batches? Blending 5% to 10% of this local beeswax into your soy wax improves its appearance.

  • Artisanal Cosmetics & Balms: Highly stable and rich in vitamins. It is the definitive choice for firm, clean-setting lip balms, solid perfumes, beard waxes, and healing salves.

  • Eco-Friendly Crafts: Perfect for the production of high-tack, naturally antibacterial beeswax food wraps and leather conditioners.

Technical Performance Tips for Formulators

  • Processing Solid Blocks: To easily break down the 750g block without flying shards, use a warm, heavy knife. Melt down on an electric stove.

  • Fragrance Pairing & Load:  Can handle high fragrance loads.

  • Pour Control: To prevent thermal shock and cooling cracks in dense silicone or metal molds, pre-warm your molds and pour the wax steadily between 70°C and 75°C.

  • Wicking for Viscosity: Pure beeswax is viscous (syrupy). Standard wicks won’t do the job.  Use the thicker VRL wicks, e.g.  VRL22 or  VRL26.
