How to use Black Rose Fragrance Oil in Paraffin Wax and IW3F
Melt the candle wax, preferably an electric stove over a double boiler. Set aside the melted wax. Add between 3 – 6% fragrance oil. This comes to roughly 1 tablespoon per 1kg candle wax. Add the fragrance oil to the melted wax and stir until the fragrance oil is completely incorporated into the melted wax. Keep stirring gently until the wax has cooled down sufficiently to reach pouring temperature.
Troubleshooting
Use the digital spoon scale to convert small amounts from volume to mass and vice versa. This is a handy tool for measuring fragrance oils.
How to use Black Rose Fragrance Oil in Cold Process Soap
This fragrance oil is an excellent choice for scenting cold process soap: no ricing, no acceleration or seizing. In addition, Black Rose fragrance oil provides outstanding scent retention.
Top tip
Stir the fragrance oil into the soap batter with a spatula, do not use a stick blender.
Storage and Safety
Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, dark place at an ambient temperature of approx 20°C. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, flames and any other sources of ignition.
