Designed for excellent performance in all our candle waxes, these flakes fully dissolve, ensuring uniform colour for a professional looking final product. A little goes a long way, making them a cost-effective choice.  Note that adding stearic acid to your candle wax will affect the final colour.

How to Get the Best Results from the Red Dye Flakes:

1. Melt Your Wax: Heat your paraffin or soy wax to your desired temperature, typically around 75°C – 85°C.
2. Measure Accurately: For precise and repeatable results, use a digital spoon scale to measure the dye flakes. We recommend starting with a very small amount, one or two flakes should suffice.
3. Add and Stir: Add the flakes to the melted wax. Stir gently until all flakes are completely dissolved.
4. Test Your Colour: To see the final cooled colour, place a drop of the coloured wax onto a white ceramic plate or piece of paper and let it harden. If you want a deeper shade, add a few more flakes and repeat the process.
